ergo Kommunikation developed this special memorandum for the cartographic publisher Perthes in Gotha. It was intended to solicit support for the map collection, which is unique in the world. Today, the approximately 185,000 works are stored in the "Perthes Forum". Probably the thinnest book in the world, it consists of 16 pages, thread-stitched in a hardcover binding. The special layout (divided into longitude and latitude) and a hole in the book at the place where the museum was to be built are worthy of mention.

So much ingenuity was rewarded: with the German Prize for Communication Design from the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen.
